Vendors Wanted! The Fredericksburg Area Museum invites YOU to be part of the 2025 FAMFaire Holiday Market on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in historic Market Square.

The event features a spectacular outdoor shopping experience in one of the most beautiful and historic parts of town.

Modeled after traditional German-style markets that began in Nuremberg, Germany (dating from the 16th century) the Fredericksburg Area Museum’s holiday market will include vendors selling traditional crafts and foods. Local musicians play for audiences adding to the perfect environment to evoke the holiday spirit while friends, families and neighbors stroll along tents filled with gifts and treats.

From its earliest function as a market, civic and government site, to its present use as a cultural center, Market Square continues to serve its community as a site of the convergence of historic and contemporary culture. The Fredericksburg Area Museum creates cultural events, like FAMFaire, to draw the community together to promote Fredericksburg’s art, culture, and history, in a way that returns the colonial square to its original intention.

We’re looking for vendors to help bring this magical holiday tradition to life! There are 21 booth spaces available, with a $150 vendor fee for those selected. Applications are due by September 5, 2025, and selected vendors will be notified by October 31.
